We offer a broad range of subjects to our Junior Certificate students. We encourage, prepare and support our students in taking as many higher-level papers as possible in the state exam. We currently offer the following subjects:
- Civic, Social and Political Education
- Home Economics
- Physical Education
- Religious Education
- Social, Personal, Health Education
- Digital Literacy
As one of the network schools in the Junior Cycle reform, we have made changes to the number of exams that students will be required to sit in their Junior Certificate. This reduces the huge pressure on students during exam time. The focus of the new Junior Cycle is to develop students' skills and learning through regular, meaningful feedback and continuous assessment. As part of the development of the new Junior Cycle programme, we have designed and implemented a course on digital literacy, which is the first of its kind in Ireland.
